From a backyard hobby to the finest specimens in Southern California.
Al started Botanic Wonders in his backyard after decades of experience in California horticulture as a hobby turned side business. In 2017, he brought Anthony on board to take it to the next level. Far beyond the early days of shipping out of Al’s garage, they now have a state-of-the-art shipping area and greenhouses dedicated to growing and supplying the finest specimens Southern California has to offer.

We grow most of our stock from seed, and to a lesser extent, cuttings. However, we also source from the best private growers around to keep our inventory as diverse as possible. When you buy a Botanic Wonders plant, you’re buying someone’s passion and dedication to propagating some of the rarest plants on earth.
